Who are you?

My name is Konstantin Benhardt and I'm a 27 years old freelance photographer based in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. I shoot mainly architecture, nature and cityscapes/landscapes. And I love street photography. All my work is done with available light. No studio work, no flashes. Just a camera, light and myself.

What are you inspired by?

I'm inspired by so many things. For example I'm inspired by the nature, her diversity and colors. Also architecture, the forms and details can be very inspiring for me. Last but not least I'm inspired by the daily life, the interaction of people with their environment.
Lately I'm strongly inspired by doors. Doors are fascinating. You can go through a door and end up in a different world. You never know what is behind a closed door.

What was the last movie you watched?

The last movie I watched was Whiplash by Damien Chazelle with Miles Teller and J. K. Simmons.

What was the last book you read?

The last book I read was Under the dome by Stephen King.

Do you have any role model?

I have no particular role model. There are too many great photographers and creative workers out there!

What is your next creative project?

My next project will be a book. I'm planning on releasing a book with my street photography.

What do you like about Portfoliobox?

Mostly I like  the slick and minimal design options on portfoliobox. It's very easy to achieve a cool and modern homepage. And the best of all is the opportunity to get an individual domain. In the future I like to try the e-commerce options on portfoliobox.net. I like the idea to have an own online-shop for prints. Keep the good work going!
