Who are you?
I have been working as freelancer for 12 years. Years before I worked as a Management Assistent for different companies (Marketing, Sales, for div. CEO’s etc.). I suffered all the time because of the lack creativity. So one day I decided to make a break in my career and to go for what I love. I do make up, hair, stylings, retouching, sometimes I need to cast models for shootings, I support photographers with ideas, concepts, organizations etc. At the beginning & in between I worked with cosmetic companies like Dior, Artdeco, Laura Mercier. I work in different areas: make up/product trainer, fashion shows, make up workshops, events, advertising etc.
For now I work for several photo studios. Perhaps I have a talent to start with photography in the future.
What is your next creative project?
At the moment I have to disappoint you because I do not plan a special project resp. I cannot plan, sometimes it is unpredictable. I am completely involved in daily photo studio business. There are many commercial and private shootings which are not a highlight to present. Hopefully I can do some creative work that is interesting to show.
What do you like about Portfoliobox?
Portfoliobox was recommended to me by a friend who is a photographer (Sascha Riehl) and use it as well. Indeed it is very user friendly and easy to handle. I generally love everything that is easy and uncomplicated. I like the layouts and the simplicity. I just wish for more options for the starter pages (e.g. implementation of own logos/letterings).
