Who are you?

I am a graphic designer and illustrator based in Bordeaux, France. Illustration is omnipresent in my work as a graphic designer. I work in partnership with cultural institutions as well as with the local underground music scene and with micro edition (fanzines, linocut, etc.).

I'm very inspired by underground comics, black and white. Music, especially punk rock and 80/90's pop-culture, greatly influences my work. The classic and fantasy 19th-century engraving also have a significant importance in my creations.

What is your next creative project?

My next project is about the theatrical season's program of Mimizan, a small town in the south-west of France.

What do you like about Portfoliobox?

Portfoliobox is very intuitive, complete and fully dedicated to showcasing visual and graphic project which makes it a perfect tool for me.

Who are you?

My name is Misha Czumaczenko. I am a mature woman in her 20's. I am a Ukrainian immigrant living in Poland since the 90's. I am a professional model, dancer and supporting artist mostly known for participating in Poland's Next Top Model in 2014 and my appearance on the cover of CKM magazine in November 2015, although I did plenty of other more creative projects. For example, I have been a part of Penny Arcade's dance troup during her 'Bitch! Dyke! Faghag! Whore!' show performed in Poland in 2015.

My work exercises my brain and intensifies my creativity, feeds my soul, but unfortunately doesn't pay me enough to live on contentedly such that I'm not stressing about money all the time. Sadly, my choice of career does not love me as much as I love it.

What is your next creative project?

I am planning on collaborating with CYBERCORPSE during creation of a music video for one of his tracks. Soon I would like to add new sections to my Portfoliobox website and one of them should contain some interesting videos.

What do you like about Portfoliobox?

I like that I can easily create my own website without having to learn any coding and Portfoliobox has exactly what I need to make it look the way I want. It's one of the best and easiest ways to starting your first website.

Who are you?

I am a commercial fashion photographer from Australia. I picked up my first camera when I was 12 (no joke) and haven't put one down since. Throughout high school I experienced with all sorts of digital and film cameras, but now I mostly use digital. I like to control what I capture and like to see what they look like. I have a fear when I use film, that all the images on the roll turn out black.

I like to describe my work as a tasteful way of showing beautiful women. There are some other photographer's works out there that looks quite tacky, but I try to focus more on the form and elegance that the women hold. From the smooth shiny skin to the way they pose themselves. I also try and get to know the models so that there's a certain energy that they can give yet also feeling comfortable in front of the camera.

What is your next creative project?

Next creative project is still in the making, so I don't really want to disclose what it is just yet. But I'm extremely excited about it and cannot wait to be able to actually start on it. It's very different to what I'm doing now so it's actually going to be quite out of my comfort zone.

What do you like about Portfoliobox?

Portfoliobox is pretty much the most amazing and easiest portfolio website I have ever come across. It's simple and so neat. Cannot believe how easy it is to upload my work and still have a professional looking book. I must admit that it presents my work so much better than any other website creator out there.

Who are you?

My name is Łukasz and I've just hit 40, so I perhaps it's time to start a midlife crisis and buy that Porsche. Seriously though, I've been doing what I am doing since 20+ years and can't think of another way to keep going. I am drifting between album covers and photography, though I dabble in video clips, set designs, layouts and whatever floats my boat and pays the bills at the same time. I've been blessed with possibilities to do what I like to do, so I try to keep the complaining at minimal
level ;)

My work is dark but passionate. I am not an expert in the field of talking about myself or even my creations for that matter. The ideas show up in my head, though I tend to have problems even with expressing them with words, which can be a drag sometimes, but in the end, it works. I have no idea if I am good at what I am doing and I don't care. I just want to keep doing it.

What is your next creative project?

I've just completed a couple of tasks: a video for a Polish metal band Decapitated, album artwork for Swedish coffee-obsessed death metallers Perkulatory, a couple of book layouts... Heading towards completing an album artwork for a German band Sun Of The Sleepless - a simple, crude, black and white imagery with lots of owls, candles and grimness. You know, black metal. Apart from that, I am not sure what's next, but something's definitely behind the corner.

What do you like about Portfoliobox?

I've fallen in love with the simplicity of it all. I've been website-less for 10 years because I was bored with HTML and hated the Wordpress mumbo jumbo. I've found Portfoliobox accidentally and within a day I knew that was my home. Good job, y'all.

Super Freak

Portfolio of the day

April 24, 2017

Who are you?

I am Super Freak and I'm a freelance Illustrator/Designer based in Birmingham, UK. In two words I think my work is weird and thoughtful. My main tool is my notepad as I like to keep track of funny phrases or scenarios I come across which I then translate into some goofy illustration/project. When it comes to visual style, I like to keep things simple and bright, taking inspiration from cartoons and Pop Art!

What is your next creative project?

I'm juggling a few projects at the moment for some new clients but once they're checked off I plan to spend some time on developing my own clothing range which is something I've been looking into for a while now!

What do you like about Portfoliobox?

I've used Portfoliobox for almost 2 years now and I generally find it super straightforward and fun to use. The main thing I've recently come to appreciate though is the customer help services. The team are really clear and quick to respond to any issues I need help with.
