Who are you?
I’m Stefan Stalio, I’m half greek half german and I live in Berlin with my Girlfriend and my Son. I started Photography about 6 years ago with a Canon A-1 and learned to develop films and expose photos wich helped me a lot to understand the interaction of light and time. While studying Photography I assisted several Photographers and that’s where I learned the most.
I’m working as a professional people, sports and commercial Photographer.
What are you inspired by?
I get Inspiration from movies, music, other photographers and my girlfriend. Great things come to my mind when I don’t think about any specific thing or when I do sports.
What was the last movie you watched?
My last Movie I watched was The Big Short.
What was the last book you read?
My last Book was: Read this if you want to take great photographs by Henry Carroll. Great to recall the simple basics of photography and learn stuff you didn’t notice or overlooked in the beginning.
Do you have any role model?
I don’t have a particular role model. I admire people who are successful in what they love to do and don’t brag about it. In photography I love the work of Joachim Baldauf, Janine Marold and Matt Hawthorne.
What is your next creative project?
My next project is about people and the connection to their car. I think people choose their car in a kind of like they choose their pet. For instance look, character, size etc.
