I used to play in many bands before I found a way to express and capture emotions by becoming a photographer
Tell us about one of your favourite projects and what inspired you to do it
My series tattoos on skin was a long time project. I learned a lot about the art of tattooing and got really inspired by listening to the stories behind the tattoo. It got exhibited at the Barlach Halle K in Hamburg/Germany and the Europäische Zentrum der Künste in Dresden/Germany.
What are you working on at the moment?
My Webshop. I have collaboration with the artist AIN visible. Check her out at instagram!
Who are your biggest influencers in the industry?
I am a big fan of Gregory Crewdson and I like Ryan McGinley a lot.
What was the last thing that inspired you?
My trip to lake como in italy.
Tell us why it's important for you to have a portfolio website
It`s the easiest way to get to know me and my work.
As a Photographer what are your tips in building a portfolio website?
Keep it simple, its about your work not the website. As long as your work is good, show everything dont limit yourself.
How do you market yourself?
Usually I am showing my portfolio to art directors and editors. But since the pandemic its often with videocall. On one hand you can easily change your pdf and don`t need to print everything, on the other hand it`s not so personal since you are looking into a camera.
