Who are you?
I am a 22-year-old portrait and fashion photographer and content creator based in Pennsylvania. As an artist, I’m most attracted to movement and rich color and put composition at the forefront of my creative process. I’ve styled 90% of my portfolio and am heavily inspired by fashion.
What are you working on at the moment?
I recently just printed my first book because I’m beginning the hunt for representation. I’ve also been producing Instagram resources to help photographers in my area stay inspired as small-town artists. I want people to know that you can create anywhere! I also juggle an amazingly busy, creative schedule at a digital media company! I really love content creation and currently have my hand in some exciting projects that I have to stay quiet about for just a bit longer…! I’m thankful to live a busy creative life.
Who are your biggest influences in the industry?
The work and career of Annie Leibovitz have been the most inspiring to me since I started taking pictures. I first became a fan of Annie after seeing her Disney Dream Portrait Series. As a self-taught photographer, I’ve always been inspired by photographers I follow on YouTube and Instagram! Jessica Kobeissi, Flannery Underwood and Jon Sams are a few people who I admire.
What was the last thing that inspired you?
Lately, I’ve been really inspired by different color schemes and how I can make my photos look more cohesive through color. I like to push for a sense of harmony between my subject and background. Other than that, I’m always just inspired to be a better person and artist. No matter where my career takes me, I think it’s nice to remember that there’s always something new to learn and always room to grow.
What do you like about Portfoliobox?
I love how easy it is to share my content. I’m a big fan of minimalist design and appreciate the sleek and simple way I can showcase my work.
