Who are you?
I’m a Long Beach born artist with a heart of gold. A girl who had the willpower to transcend any and every obstacle in order to live the dream that I had since I was a child. From poverty and multiple events of tragedy to bliss. I pushed through it all and rose to share my artful expression that I represent through photography and poetry in Los Angeles, California.
What is your next creative project?
Public speaking is another passion of mine and the project that I am currently working on involves me sharing my intuitive messages that have healing qualities to people around the world in all kinds of settings. I feel driven to share my messages through photography, poetry and public speaking as if it were a divine mission for me.
How would you describe your work?
My approach to photography is to capture the essence of a person by keeping the entire process raw, authentic and lively, in order for the magic to fully blossom on its own. It’s all about the movement, serenity and freedom to me. These are the kind of elements that I like infuse into my work. That is why many who have worked with me have mentioned that my photoshoots feel organic and sometimes a bit challenging since they require a lot letting go of expectations and falling into your own true expression.
What do you want your viewers to take away from your work?
I hope that my viewers to come to my site and immediately get a sense of the message I try to convey through my photography. The message that life itself is a naturally a magnificent work of art. I also hope that my work inspires my audience to listen to what they feel when they see my photographs or read my poetry. My photographs are intentionally crafted to inspire you to take your time examining every inch of life; from the curls of a leaf, to the colors of the sky, to the energy of the subject.
What do you like about Portfoliobox?
I’ve been using Portfoliobox for more than six years now and I’m delighted by the fact that we have been evolving together since. I’ve seen this platform change overtime and it has recently integrated a serious new upgrade (just like myself and my site)! It’s been a neat process to witness and be apart of, and that is what makes me feel even more connected to Portfoliobox. It’s not just the platform that I like either, it’s also the fact that they are always doing their fair share of personally checking-in with their users via email with the intention of being of assistance. Since Portfoliobox is housed by a close knit group of genuine people in Sweden, it means that I am always able to chat with a live person that I might already know. At this point of the journey, it’s highly likely that I have spoken to more than half of them by now!
