Who are you?
I’m an Italian Industrial Designer graduated from Kolding design school. I’m currently running my studio in Denmark.
I graduated as an industrial designer, but I've always been a designer with really dirty hands, I like to be involved directly in the process. That's why most of the projects of the studio are actually produced by ourselves, or in a really close cooperation with handcraft companies, most of them in small limited series. That's also where we get most of our ideas, directly in the workshop while we are prototyping. I like to investigate and experiment with materials, and in all my projects I always try to use a new perspective, but of course is not always easy to do it.
What is your next creative project?
I have several projects that are coming, I’m still investigating and experimenting with terrazzo and marble. I hope they will have an interesting twist on how we perceive the materials that they are made of.
What do you like about Portfoliobox?
I like that it is incredibly intuitive and quick to change content and pages when you don’t have time to spend on it, but it still allows me to sit down and be nerdy about details when I have time for it.
