Who are you?
My name is Doménico C. V. Talarico. I am an artist and an illustrator, living and working in Berlin, Germany.
What are you inspired by?
For my paintings I reuse old photographs of unknown people. It inspires me to create a new identity, a new adventure for these forgotten individuals. For my collages it's a completely different way to establish a special character out of well chosen fragments. I find it interesting how all color and proportion work together and help me to create a story.
What was the last movie you watched?
"One, Two, Three!" - A black and white comedy movie from 1961.
What was the last book you read?
"Art and the good life - On the ethics of aesthetics".
Do you have any role model?
There are a lot of people i admire, but I can't say they're my role models.
What is your next creative project?
I distinguish between my paintings and my collages, so I have plenty things to organize. I'm planning the next exhibition with my paintings and at the same time I promote my collages for several things.
