I am a self-portrait photographer and model, especially working on the performance of nude photos in the Arctic, under the name "Polaris".
Tell us about one of your favourite projects and what inspired you to do it
My project "Polaris" is my biggest project yet. It's a collection of nude self-portraits taken in the Arctic and the french Alps, telling the story of a human being returning to its primary form and becoming one with the Nature.
What are you working on at the moment?
For now I'm working on finding the right opportunity to finally exhibit Polaris in its entirety in Europe.
Who are your biggest influencers in the industry?
I don't think I have one, but I really like the work of Nona Limmen.
What was the last thing that inspired you?
My horse, for a duo self-portrait.
Tell us why it's important for you to have a portfolio website
I think having a neat website is a good way to show my art without all the negative aspects of social media, I can really organize it, show HD pictures and show which artist I am.
As aself-portrait photographer, what are your tips in building a portfolio website?
Keep it simple, yet don't be shy and show us what you can do and who you are. Always think "what is the public image I'm giving ?".
How do you market yourself?
Honestly, I suck at it, I only use Instagram, so I can't give any advice regarding marketing.
