Who are you?
I'm a creative from Sydney, Australia who is looking to land a role in fashion design & production. I started my career in lingerie design with Elegantly Scant then launched my own brand Laurel & Hector which took me to China to oversee production & source ethical manufacturing. I work with classical streamline silhouettes & add bold colours & fabrics to make each piece stand out.
What is your next creative project?
I'm hoping my portfolio will land me a role in fashion design where I can show my versatility. My use of colour sometimes limits what people can see in the garment, once you pull it back you notice the very simple classical cuts I use in each collection. I hope to work with a brand that can utilise my eye for colour & textiles.
What do you like about Portfoliobox?
It's a simple back end with a variety of layouts. Like my patterns, I chose a simple layout that showcased my portfolio in the most straightforward way. The only thing I would love to add is a "back to top" button at the bottom of my design page. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to host an online CV & portfolio.
