Who are you?
I am a young photographer and graphic designer from Uruguay. I was born in Montevideo in 1982. I studied Communication at University with a special emphasis in cinema and photography. Art has been always for me an inevitable process, from poetry to video and photography. At first I tried to represent what I found beautiful, simple and balanced, but with the time I found that the world is very ambiguous and felt very strange to me, so my look has become more ironic and disenchanted. Some years from now the camera has became more towards my privacy and my experiences, with special interest in themes as memory, time and death.
What is your next creative project?
I am working in a project called "Herencia" (Legacy) around the concept of time and memory, exploring what we keep when our ancestors die.
