Who are you?
I am Austrian born Fashion and Portrait Photographer living and working all over Europe. I have been travelling for the past 11 years, and am currently based in Madrid. Change is important for my creativity, Although sometimes I like to settle in a place longer to absorb the culture.
What are you inspired by?
If inspiration equals creativity then it appears mostly spontaneously whilst working but it can also transpire through emotional connections to certain objects or déjà vu. Which is the same as spontaneous creativity, every painting starts with one stroke. Photography is similar, you start and work your way towards a satisfying result.
What was the last movie you watched?
The departed.
What was the last book you read?
Earnest Hemingway - 'The old man and the sea'.
Do you have any role model?
Michelangelo Antonioni.
What is your next creative project?
I am working on an experimental/ fashion film for a while now, trying to finish it this summer.
What do you like about Portfoliobox?
The simplicity, it doesn't add much extra work in times where everyone is very busy.
