Tell us a bit about yourself
Hi ! My name is Naomi, I'm a '97 multicultural baby, and I'm a photographer based in Brisbane, Australia. Being a full time musician before, I naturally became drawn to photography, having to take a tone of unique self-portraits. Eventually, evolving into something much more, I fell in love with the craft and loved the idea of capturing moments for other people. I'm now working with local businesses, as well as clients wanting special moments captured.
Tell us about one of your favourite projects and what inspired you to do it
I wouldn't say it was a project, but it definitely inspired me to pursue photography to the next level. My mother really wanted me to take our family photos, never doing this before I was nervous, as I also had to be in the photos. To my surprise, the photos came out beautifully. Because of my mother's wishes, I'm now wanting to create precious memories for other families.
What was the last thing that inspired you?
Not what, but who; Kusumastuti Grashuis inspired me.
Tell us why it's important for you to have a photographer portfolio website
Now days, everything is online & people need to be able to see my work instantly. My generation is quick to make decisions, so being able to provide them with my website makes it both easier for my clients and myself.
