Who are you?
My name is Verlinden Thomas, I am 24 years old and I am I recently graduated at Sint Lucas College of Arts Antwerp. I am a Graphic Designer. Currently I am unemployed and looking for a job. In the meantime I do freelance assignments. My interest vary from art and design to music, philosophy, spirituality and psychology and esotericism to partying which reflects in my creative work.
What are you inspired by?
Mostly I get inspired by every day life; the things I experience, the things I see, ... I also get a lot of inspiration by nature, music, books, art and work by other designers.
What was the last movie you watched?
The last movie I watched was ‘Decoder’ by Muscha an underground B-movie.
What was the last book you read?
The last recent written book I read was ‘Submission’ by Michel Houellebecq and the last book I read was ‘Ape and Essence’ by Aldous Huxley.
Do you have any role model?
I don’t have any real role models, I do however have a lot of people which I admire and who I look up to.
What is your next creative project?
I always have a few projects I am working on, or that are in my mind. But I guess I am still working on the project ‘Graphic Experimentation in the field of Sacred Geometry’, which is a kind of data visualization based on proportions and sequences. It also has a theoretical and philosophical base to it, which I developed during my last years as a student.
What do you like about Portfoliobox?
