With this update, you can now add alt-text to:

• Cover images: These are the background images on cover pages, often the first visual contact a visitor has with a website. Adding alt-text to these images improves the accessibility of your site right from its main entrance.
  
• Single image elements: Whether added through the 'Add Element Below' function or incorporated within any page template featuring a single image, these elements can now have alt-text. This update is particularly beneficial for sites where single images convey important content or messages.
  
• Item images in collections pages: Alt-text can now be added to images on pages within the collections category, such as Link Pages, Services, Team, Logos, Testimonials, and Event Lists. This enables a more comprehensive application of accessibility features, ensuring that even more parts of your website are optimised for users with screen readers and for search engines.
  

How to add Alt-Text

Adding alt-text to your images in Portfoliobox is straightforward:

For cover images

1. Navigate to the cover page editor.
2. Click Edit Image.
3. Choose Change Content.
4. Fill in the SEO Title field.

For single-image elements

1. Go to the page containing the single image element.
2. Click Edit Image.
3. Choose Change Content.
4. Fill in the SEO Title field.

For item images in collections pages

1. Go to the page containing the item images.
2. Right-click on images.
3. Choose Change Content.
4. Select an image.
5. Fill in the SEO Title field.
