At Portfoliobox, we continuously improving our platform to serve your needs better. We are pleased to announce a number of updates that boost SEO, simplify your workflow, and improve your portfolio website's overall functionality. Here's what's new!
SEO optimisation for section titles
We've made a significant change to how section titles are formatted on your pages. Now, when you add a new section to a page, the title will automatically be an H2 instead of an H1. This adjustment aligns with best SEO practices, helping to structure your content more effectively and improve your site’s search engine ranking.
Image library enhancements
Navigating an extensive image library just got easier! We’ve added a new button that allows you to increase or decrease the image size in your library view. This feature makes it simpler to find the right images quickly, especially when you have a vast collection.
Placeholder text addition in the text editor
We've introduced a 'T' button that lets you insert placeholder text into text fields. This addition is particularly useful for designers and website builders who want to visualise layouts and text placement before finalising content.
Updates to password-protected pages
To enhance user experience on password-protected pages, these pages now display the page title instead of the URL on the login screen. This change provides a clearer, more professional appearance and helps users understand which page they are accessing.
Tooltips in the new style editor
To assist you further while using our new style editor, we’ve integrated tooltips. These helpful hints appear as you navigate through different styling options, offering quick tips and clarifying the function of various elements. This feature is designed to make the style editor more user-friendly, especially for new users.
We are committed to making Portfoliobox a strong and easy-to-use platform for our creative community. Our goal is to keep improving it to ensure it remains a valuable tool for artists, designers, photographers, and all users around the world.
