Transfer domain from Portfoliobox to another provider
If you wish to transfer your domain from Portfoliobox to another host, you need to contact us at least 45 days before your account expires. You can make this request to the support team who will send you a transfer link. Note that a domain name cannot be transferred to another host within 60 days after purchase.
Transfer link
You will first receive a link to an online form that you will need to fill in with your information. It will be used to change the information linked to the domain name before we transfer it.
EPP key
An EPP key is a code used to initiate the domain transfer. Once you have filled in the form, you will receive a confirmation email from Namechap. Please, click the link to verify your email address. Then only, we will request the EPP key for you. It will be sent to your email address by Namecheap.
Portfoliobox can only assist in giving the EPP-key, the rest is up to you and the support team of your new domain host.
NB! If your new domain provider is Namecheap, we will push the domain name to your Namecheap account. The EPP key will not be needed.
