Tell us a bit about yourself
I am an artist and designer, originally from New York, now based in Berlin. I specialize in digital arts and mural arts. I am also a huge nerd so I love taking inspiration from the digital age and the real world.
Tell us about one of your favourite projects and what inspired you to do it
My mural that I created at Tuefelsberg in Berlin- I describe it as where the spiritual world and Berlin world collide.
What are you working on at the moment?
I am working on animation my digital pieces, and even animating my murals with AR.
Who are your biggest influencers in the industry?
I watch a lot of movies from the 80's, early sci fi, nature documentaries, and that sort of thing. I also draw inspiration from my day job as a designer/coder living in a metropolitan city.
What was the last thing that inspired you?
Polarized ski goggles- I used to ski competitively- and I think the look and feel of ski goggles now represents the futuristic look, but also something that has been around for ages, and is where technology and nature and adventure merge.
Tell us why it's important for you to have an artist portfolio website
The world had gone digital- I honestly am from the generation where I don't remember not having computers/websites. It just seems natural to have one now.
As a professional artist what are your tips in building an artist portfolio website?
I don't know if I have tips, but creating a website for your art is much different, and you have a lot of creative freedom- so have fun with it!
How do you market yourself?
Mostly just work of mouth and QR codes.
