Default margins

All templates have the same default margins when a page  or a section is created. This means that pages with multiple sections should look neater since elements are properly aligned both on desktop and mobile.

Editing the margins of a section

You can edit the default margins of a section to adjust it to your liking.

  1. Right click in a section or Click on Edit section.
  2. Click on Styles.
  3. Under Margins, edit the Padding Top, Bottom, Left and Right.

Editing the margins of an element within a section

Margins are used to create space around elements, outside of any defined borders. In Portfoliobox, you will be able to edit the margins of elements on your site e.g. a header, a logo, a border, a form, a button, etc. To edit the margins of an element:

  1. Right-click on the element you want to edit.
  2. Select Styles.
  3. Under Margins, edit the Margins of the element.
