Footer sections vs. Footer

Footer

In web design, a footer refers to a segment at the bottom of a webpage. It contains information that is repeated across multiple pages. With Portfoliobox, you first add a footer, then add one or several sections within the footer. For example, you might have a footer section for displaying your contact information, another for social media links, and another for copyright information.

Footer Section

A Footer Section is a type of section template. You can use it everywhere on your site, in your footer, but not only. The footer section can be found under Add New Section → Additional Sections → Footer.
